Live Stage: Party Dress [uk London]

Party Dress is going to have it’s London debut on July the 11th. As dusk descends upon London, exquisite aristocratic gowns, experimental architectural form, and electro acoustic musicians will mingle together to show the public how a party dress is meant to be worn. Party Dress is a roving performance that is part living architecture, part monumental fashion.

Designed by two sisters, Party Dress functions as a pavilion worn exclusively by five women that seamlessly injects architecture into fashion by using the body as space. Step inside the dress, taste a sweet cupcake, and enjoy an evening of electro-acoustic music from Paris. Continue reading

The Cloud

The Cloud, by the MIT Mobile Experience Lab, is an organic sculptural landmark that responds to human interaction and expresses context awareness using hundreds of sensors and over 15,000 individually addressable optical fibers. Constructed of carbon glass, spanning over four meters, and containing more than 65 kilometers of fiber optics, The Cloud encourages visitors to touch and interact with information in new ways, manifesting emotions and behavior through sound and a dichotomy of luminescence and darkness. Live Stage: “Immanence” [secondlife Second Life]

You are cordially invited to the inauguration of IMMANENCE, visionary artist Leou’s new immersive installation. The event will take place on the virtual reality of Second Life, June 27, at Kelly Yap’s Gallery. The artist will be present at 8 am, 12 pm & 6 pm slt (or PST, Pacific Time).

IMMANENCE is a mandala of great complexity, a live, multi-media, interactive and immersive installation, a mix of sculpture, installation, comics and painting, in between traditional sacred art and contemporary art.
